Associated facilities

Supported by the IDEX, the Université Grenoble Alpes is working to develop a consistent and ambitious editorial policy via its new publishing facility and strengthened partnerships:

The Mathdoc Mersenne Centre

The Mathdoc Cell, a CNRS-UGA joint research unit, is at the service of mathematicians and archivists specialised in mathematics all around the world. It has established itself as a preferred partner of academic publishers and mathematics libraries for archiving, referencing and the dissemination of mathematical resources.
Today, Mathdoc is aiming to expand its services and create the Mersenne Centre, a centre of expertise and IT developments for the production and dissemination of scientific journals committed to open access, regardless of discipline.

Presses Universitaires de Grenoble (PUG)

Work is underway with the PUG to eventually build a unique publishing house on the site. PUG is an independent publishing facility founded by academics. It currently has a catalogue of over 2,000 titles in the field of humanities and social sciences, and 5 journals. It contributes to promoting the French language around the world by means of its French as a foreign language catalogue.

Les éditions de l'Université Savoie Mont Blanc

An agreement is currently underway to incorporate Les éditions de l'Université Savoie Mont Blanc (the dedicated publishing department of the Languages, Literatures, Societies and Cross-border and International Research Unit - LLSETI) into this dynamic. The department has a catalogue spanning the different laboratory disciplines – comparative and foreign French literature, language sciences, foreign languages and civilisations, history, sociology and philosophy.
